DB Schenker is the world’s leading provider of global logistics services. It offers its clients an extremely comprehensive portfolio of products, services, additional information and ancillary options.
Our task was to modernise the design of the DB Schenker website. A single URL was required to unify its logistics and rail freight traffic segments, and 80 regional subsidiaries needed a uniform design. The user interface had to be simple and internationally comprehensible.
The Digiden team developed a modern, intuitive design for the corporate website. A vast amount of content and services for different target groups is now easily accessible, and interested users are forwarded to their competent regional subsidiary.
The new website seamlessly integrates the rail freight traffic and logistics segments.
We have defined KPIs and user journeys for all target groups and implemented a coherent tracking concept.
After the relaunch, we expanded the rollout to more than 80 regional subsidiaries. During an extensive change management process involving regional workshops, we trained all employees who would be using the system, recorded regional requirements and documented the progress of the project. Everyone was thoroughly prepared when the regional websites went live in their respective languages.
